Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Paul Coviello received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College as well as further certification as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association. Paul’s post-doctoral education took place in a clinic focusing on chronic spine pain in Atlanta, Georgia, providing him with unique experience in the world of spine and pain care. Paul has a particular interest in treating neck and shoulder conditions and has published an article in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy on managing shoulder conditions using Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Paul also enjoys helping patients manage complex vestibular and post concussion syndrome related symptoms, especially when compounded with spinal disorders.

Born and raised in Summit, Paul was a member of the 2009 State Champion Football and 2010 State Champion Lacrosse teams. He continued his Football career at Ithaca College. Paul’s passions outside of the clinic include cycling, weightlifting, guitar, and drums. Paul has incorporated his love for cycling into Summit Physical Therapy’s Cycling Injury Prevention and Performance Program.
